Congratulations!
Congratulations to Cathy Morehouse and Jon Bernardy, both of Horace Mann, for being awarded the President's CPCU Scholarship from the IIA.
This is quite an honor to receive the scholarship because there are only 100 of these awarded each year and with very specific criteria which includes the nomination must come from the CEO of the company.

Good Works
Every year the Land of Lincoln chapter is involved in at least a couple Good Works Projects.
The first one is right around the corner with a food drive for a local food pantry. Please bring non-perishable food to the September 16th chapter meeting at Saputo's. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact a board member and they will be able to arrange to have your donation picked up.
Our second Good Works Project is our traditional Toys For Tots drive which finishes at our Christmas celebration in December. The date for this event is not decided yet.

Newest CPCU
Congratulations to our newest CPCU, Debbie Castaldo.
Debbie works for Horace Mann Insurance Companies and has been studying hard to complete her CPCU. With her completion she is also joining the Land of Lincoln CPCU Society as the newest Board Member. Make sure to come to the September meeting at Saputo's to congratulate and welcome her.
